Women in Construction training at Site 66
On the 22 – 24 October 2019 Site 66 and Essential was proud to host their first ever training session designed for woman only.
Packed 3 days of practical information on products and techniques Our valued suppliers will be conducted both theory and practical training sessions, with opportunities for attendees to practice these skills in a safe and controlled environment.

Celebrating 20 Years of Trading
ROBOT INDUSTRIAL ADDS “PAINT SPECIALIST”
On 26 July, Robot Industrial Supplies unveiled a brand-new addition to their store: Paint Trend ‘n Trade! This means that Robot now offers their customers automotive, industrial and decorative products, making them a one-stop shop for everyone’s hardware needs! The launch day was packed with exciting giveaways and specials, as well as a trade day to show off their suppliers’ products. Congratulations on the new addition, Mark! We know it will be very successful!
Built from the ground up
CBL Hardeware, a family run business, is respected and supported by the local community in Ladismith, Western Cape. At the helm is Oom Hennie Smit, who, despite challenging times in the Karoo, made the bold move to build his own retail store and relocate his premises. CBL has been an Essential member for a year, and we applaud his decision to also open a Paint Trend ‘n Trade store to offer paint specialists to his mix. Hennie has embraced the Essential brand, and is a true ambassador in all aspects. We wish CBL Hardeware and Paint Trend ’n Trade success in their new building.
